Covenant Christian Academy

We are a group of families who have joined together to support and encourage one another in the homeschooling of our children. Together, we represent approximately 21 families with 30 students enrolled. Our parents give deeply of their time and talents to make Covenant Christian Academy what it is. We are strong because of the willingness of our families to serve one another in many ways. We firmly believe that our children are our future. Seeds planted and cultivated today will bear much fruit tomorrow. God is faithful to lead and guide us in all we undertake. It is because of Him that we are able to not only train our children, but also raise them to lead productive lives of service towards God and others, striving for excellence in all they do.

We provide the following:
Parental Support

Fall Retreat for our moms
Monthly "Moms' Night Out" support meetings
Quarterly Dads' meeting
Monthly newsletters

Administrative Support:

Complete student records maintained to meet state requirements
Report cards transcripts for high school students
Consultation for homeschool management, curriculum, materials,
scoring, and grading

Academic Support:

Stanford 10 achievement testing
W.R.A.T. and S.O.R.T. Diagnostic testing
Optional "Academy Day" classes on Fridays (co-op classes)
Field trip opportunities
Yearbooks
Opportunity to participate in physical fitness testing (with awards)
School pictures
End-of-the-year Promotion Night with promotion
certificates and diplomas

Requirements of Parents:

Attendance by moms at monthly meetings (7 out of 9 mandatory)
Completion of student work over view for each student (due by Sept. 1st)
Completion of monthly attendance sheets and quarterly report cards
Maintenance of personal instruction records for your own files
Payment of registration by Aug. 1 and monthly tuition by the
first of each month (beginning Sept.1)
Membership in H.S.L.D.A. ( Home School Legal Defense Association)
$115.00 fee per year - highly recommended
Active membership in a local Bible-believing Christian church

Monthly Tuition:

September through June (10 months)

Full Membership:

Full member children (age 6 by 12/31/10) are covered under our
Private School Affidavit
Services include record keeping, testing, and support activities
$60.00 per month, per family

Associate Membership:

For families of kindergarten age children
Does not include testing or record keeping
$30.00 per month, per family

Yearly Registration Fee:

Full Membership: $70.00 per student (new)
$50.00 per student (returning)
$20.00 additional for 9-12 grades
$25.00 for kindergarten students

Associate Membership:

$30.00 per family registration
Applications will be available March 1 for the following school year
Enrollment is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis
