Santa Rosa Christian Church Doctrinal Statement

  • We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God; that it is our standard for faith and practice; that it forms and contains the doctrinal belief of Santa Rosa Christian Church.
  • We believe that God is the One God revealed in the Bible; that he exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: that he was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that he died vicariously on the cross for our sins; that he was buried, raised from the dead, and ascended into heaven; that he will return to earth in triumph; and that he established the church as his body on earth.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who, by his indwelling presence in each believer, empowers for godly living, ministry, and service.
  • We believe that individuals must turn from their lost, sinful condition by repentance, place their faith in Jesus Christ and his redemptive work, and live in obedience to him.
  • We believe in baptism of the believer by immersion in water.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the dead to eternal life, either separated from God by sin or in union with Him through forgiveness and salvation.
